Lexington C.A.R.E.S."The allegation of adult involvement in and/or incitement of this minor playground incident is entirely without merit." -- Superintendent Paul Ash
Press releases: June 19, 2006; June 16, 2006
Lexington has a long tradition of making our public school classrooms safe and welcoming for all children and their families. We know that children must feel welcome and comfortable in the classroom to reach their academic potential. In particular:
Lexington C.A.R.E.S., a group of Lexington parents and community members, is determined to ensure that our citizens understand the impact of the demands made by those who would undermine our town's longstanding values. We will work to make sure that all of our children can speak and be acknowledged in our public school classrooms for who they, and their families, are.
